The conceptual Oppo Xiaobu home robot has been designed by LeapX Design as a solution for the modern living space to offer support for families and seniors alike. The robot would help to bridge the gap that exists between smart home equipment and fully capable robots for living spaces, and boasts a roving design that will follow the inhabitant around their space. The unit is crafted with a series of soft touch materials on the exterior for a more approachable feel, while a built-in arm will raise and lower a tablet to provide information or even support video calls with loved ones.
The conceptual Oppo Xiaobu home robot will provide companionship for seniors and also works to provide medication at set times of day, if required. The system can also keep pets entertained when humans are away.
