The ’30 PPG in the regular season’ quiz

Sports

The Kevin Durant era in Phoenix is off to an encouraging start.

The former MVP made his long-awaited Suns debut on Wednesday night, scoring 23 points in a 105-91 win over the Charlotte Hornets. Devin Booker led all scorers with 37 points, giving GM James Jones a preview of the dynamic scoring duo he hopes can bring the franchise its first championship. That will be easier said than done, however. The Suns currently sit in fourth place in a crowded Western Conference, and while it seems likely that Phoenix plays in the postseason, Durant and the Suns will need to keep their foot on the gas pedal to avoid dropping down into the play-in tournament (or worse) over the last 20 or so games of the 2022-23 regular season.

Which brings us to today’s quiz of the day. In NBA history, only 32 players have averaged 30 or more points per game over the course of the regular season, including Durant, who has done it twice. So with that in mind, how many of the 32 can you name in five minutes?

Good luck!
