Ordinarily, purchasing a concert ticket to see an artist or band perform live is something that diehard or casual fans do but with the Live Nation Shuffle Ticket, people may end up hearing songs live in concert that they’ve never heard before. Shuffle Tickets, launched in Sweden, grant ticketholders access to a concert in Stockholm, Gothenburg or Malmö but the catch is that they won’t know who they’re signing up to see upon purchase.
With these tickets, people have the chance to see Coldplay, Bruce Springsteen or The Chats, or even attend Lollapalooza. Christa Murley, project manager at concert organizer Luger at Live Nation, said: “we hope ‘The Shuffle Ticket’ will give young people the chance to discover new music in an exciting way.”
These tickets remind of a mystery box or a blind grab bag, and promise a surprise either way.
