Yet another historic building was reframed as a stylishly renovated apartment—this time in Prague, Czech Republic. The EO7 Apartment is one example of a persisting trend where designers and architects are reworking older structures into more contemporary dwellings while also aiming to preserve the inherent charm of the traditional.
The EO7 Apartment was revamped by Malfinio for a young family with children. The firm reworked the layout of the dwellings in order to match the contemporary flow of living—for example, a wall was removed in the main living space to promote larger spaces for socialization. The firm was also mindful when choosing the color palette, textures, and furniture for the space. The lighting choice is, perhaps, one of the centerpieces in the stylishly renovated apartment.
