Recyclable Film Packaging : Recycle-Ready Thermoforming Films

Trends
These Recycle-Ready Thermoforming Films are being launched by Amcor in Europe as a range of solutions for meat, dairy and fish product packaging. The PrimeSeal and DairySeal packaging is reported to have a carbon footprint that’s 80% lower than the PE and PA films presently on the market. Capable of being heated up to 100-degrees Celcius, the packaging is achieved using low Ethylene-Vinyl Alcohol Copolymer (EVOH) material and is certified for recycling by Cyclos-HTP in PE streams.

Senior Marketing Manager Rosalia Rosalinova explained the new Recycle-Ready Thermoforming Films saying, “As our customers look at ways of reducing their own carbon footprint, we are constantly evolving our product portfolio to support them. Our new thermoforming films offer both businesses and consumers a better choice when it comes to recycle-ready packaging.”
