Known for her colorful and blunt personality, LSU head coach Kim Mulkey can sometimes rub people the wrong way. It is hard to argue with the opinion she shared during Sunday’s Elite Eight contest between the No. 3 LSU Tigers and No. 9 Miami Hurricanes, though
While Mulkey and the Tigers ultimately emerged victorious, knocking off the Hurricanes by a 54-42 score, she was not happy about the level of play heading into the fourth quarter and let viewers at home know it.
Speaking with ESPN sideline reporter Brooke Weisbrod, Mulkey roasted both squads for their lackluster shooting, calling it “bad ball.”
“If I was watching this game, I’d turn it off,” Mulkey said. “Look at that score, would you? That’s some bad offensive basketball.”
