Even Jason Momoa Doesn’t Know Which Batman Appears In Aquaman 2

Jason Momoa’s big meeting with James Gunn and Peter Safran confirmed that the actor’s involvement in the DC Universe will continue for at least four more years, but even the King of Atlantis himself doesn’t know which Batman(s) will show up in “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom.” “I shot with a couple different Batmans,” Momoa said in an interview with The Wrap.

“But you just don’t know what’s going on, and we’ll see what the end product is,” Momoa continued. Both Michael Keaton and Ben Affleck’s Dark Knights have previously been tied to appearances in “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom,” but the shakeup of DC Comics’ film, television, and animation division has left even Aquaman wondering and wading in the deep end of the pool for answers.

However, Momoa isn’t totally in the dark, and he did give fans a taste to whet their appetites. “It’s really a journey with the brothers,” Momoa said in the same interview. “Patrick Wilson [Ocean Master/Orm] is phenomenal, and there’s just a lot of themes that are going on in it. What I wanted to do was not have some alien force that’s trying to attack us. It’s not gonna be something that’s from an outer world. It’s all about what we’re doing to our planet, and we’re expediting what’s gonna happen when you melt the caps. It’s our future.”
