The European Union is carrying out the 2026 edition of its crisis management exercise – EU integrated resolve (EU IR26) from 19 October to 20 November 2026.
In line with the preparedness Union strategy, the EU IR26 aims to strengthen the EU’s capacity to respond to a complex crisis of a hybrid nature with crisis scenarios inside and outside of the EU.
As global threats continue to evolve, posing significant risks to both EU citizens and critical areas, EU IR26 is crucial to bolster the EU’s preparedness and resilience by exercising its crisis response measures and mechanisms. This reinforces the EU’s integrated approach, including with international partners.
