Chloe Sang At The Black Music Collective Honors

The ceremony went down on Thursday evening in Los Angeles, just a few days ahead of the 65th Annual Grammy Awards. Missy—along with Lil Wayne, Dr. Dre, and music executive Sylvia Rhone—were all honored, and Chloe took to the stage to honor Elliott.

The “Have Mercy” singer specifically offered a harmonious rendition of “One in a Million” by Aaliyah, a song that was penned by Missy.

In addition to Chloe performing Aaliyah’s classic, Ciara and Tweet respectively performed “1, 2 Step” and “Oops (Oh My)”—two tracks that featured Missy back in the early 2000s. Talk about a fun blast from the past to honor the Virginia-bred rap icon!
