Feb. 1 marks the beginning of Black History Month, and Beyoncé commemorated the occasion by announcing the dates for her highly-anticipated Renaissance tour! As a result, the Beyhive is ACTIVATED, and social media is abuzz with fans’ reactions.

America-Based Fans Woke Up To The Announcement On Wednesday Morning

The official news came in the early hours of Feb. 1, and—as is the case with most matters involving Beyoncé—it swiftly took off on the internet.

From the announcement, fans learn that the tour kicks off in Stockholm, Sweden, on May 10. She’ll then hit up a slew of European cities before making her way over to North America, where her Sept. 27 show in New Orleans will mark the end of the tour.

As the tour dates circulated, Beyoncé also took to Instagram to show off a stunning photo to essentially confirm the announcement on her social media.

Beyhive Excitedly Floods Social Media In Response To Renaissance Announcement

As you can imagine, people were psyched to hear the news, and the excited Twitter reactions came pouring in.

However, some were stuck on how difficult it’ll inevitably be to secure a spot at one of the shows, especially considering how rent was just due and taxes haven’t been filed yet.

People also dragged lyrics from “Break My Soul” into the conversation, saying, “Beyoncé better price those tickets like someone who told people to quit their jobs.”

Beyoncé stans were committed to finding a way, though. In fact, one person proclaimed, “RICH DADDIES TO THE FRONT! This is not a drill.”

Some dedicated fans even joked that they’re NOT afraid to throw hands to secure their spot, so the “bots on Ticketmaster” better watch out!

The fact that the Renaissance tour was announced to kick off Black History Month was also honed in on, and some humorously tried to use it to their advantage.

Aside from all the fun, though, some did take issue with the “world tour” only hitting up Europe and 2/3 of North America.

However, it’s safe to say that most were pumped up about the news and having a good time with the laughs.

Are you hype for the Renaissance tour, and are you going to try and secure tickets to attend a show?
