For the third time within a month, Washington Wizards guard Bradley Beal exited a game with a hamstring injury.

Beal made his return Tuesday against the Milwaukee Bucks after missing three games due to a left hamstring injury. However, Beal left the game after playing for 13 minutes.

The Wizards ruled him out for the remainder of the game before the fourth quarter with left hamstring soreness.

Washington lost the game 123-113 as Giannis Antetokounmpo led the Bucks with a career-high 55 points.

Beal finished with eight points, four assists, two steals, and two turnovers.

The three-time All-Star missed six games after exiting a Dec. 4 game against the Los Angeles Lakers with a right hamstring strain. He returned on Dec. 18 in a game against the Lakers.

However, his return lasted five games before he left a Dec. 27 game against the Philadelphia 76ers in the fourth quarter with a left hamstring injury. That injury forced him to miss three games before returning Tuesday against the Bucks.

Beal has already missed 15 games this season with various ailments. Entering Tuesday, Beal had averaged 23.5 points while shooting a career-high 52.7% from the field in 23 games.

But his hamstrings have hampered him as of late. The Wizards can only hope that his latest setback won’t keep him out of the lineup.
