Archer Midnight eVTOL Air Taxi recently finished its first phase trial and plans to start Phase 2 FAA testing later in 2024.

Midnight eVTOL is built to zip back and forth between destinations spanning 10-50 miles with quick pit stops for charging. It aims to redefine air travel: safe, eco-friendly, and whisper-quiet.

With 12 propellers, it takes off straight up and smoothly transitions to horizontal flight while carrying up to 1,000 pounds.

Next up for Midnight is Phase 2, where it’ll gradually rev up its speed until it masters the switch from vertical to horizontal flight.

Powered by six independent battery packs, each supporting a pair of electric engines.
Optimized to fly rapid back-to-back flights of ~10-50 miles with minimal charge time in between.

Engineered for speeds of up to 150 mph, Midnight can turn hour-long ground commutes into minutes in the air.
Pilot + 4. Configured to operate with a pilot and up to four passengers and luggage.
Able to be charged in minutes between flights.
Midnight is designed to enable it to operate at pricing that is competitive with ground-based ride share.
