The Future Redeemed DLC is the fourth and final wave of DLC content for Xenoblade Chronicles 3, a role-playing game for the Nintendo Switch. The DLC was released on April 25, 2023 as part of the full Expansion Pass for the game that retails at $29.99 USD. The DLC features a new story scenario that connects all three installments in the Xenoblade Chronicles series, as well as new characters, locations, and gameplay mechanics.
The story of the Future Redeemed DLC is set before the main game’s events. It follows Matthew, a descendant of Noah and Mio, and his allies A, Glimmer, and Nikol as they join forces with Shulk and Rex to stop Alpha, a rogue Ouroboros who wants to destroy the world. The DLC explores the Cent-Omnia region, an area of Aionios that was not seen in the main game, and reveals the origins of the Ouroboros group and their connection to Origin, the source of all life. The DLC also introduces new gameplay features such as Traversal Skills, Chain Attacks, and Soul Hack.
