Willock, UGA Teammates Seen Exiting Strip Club Before Car Crash

College football standout Devin Willock and some of his University of Georgia teammates were seen leaving an Athens strip club last week, roughly 15 minutes before a fatal car crash that killed him, chilling video footage shows.

UGA recruiting analyst Chandler LeCroy also died, according to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

The outlet also identified Willock, 20, and his teammate Warren McClendon, among other players, in footage that shows the group exiting the Toppers International Showbar around 2:30 a.m on Jan. 15.

The group had been out celebrating Georgia’s back-to-back national championships, including one their historic victory over Texas Christian University (TCU) on the night in question.

The outlet reported that the players “were accompanied by two women who strongly resemble the UGA employees involved in the fatal crash.”

The group left the strip club about 30 minutes after it closed in a black 2021 Ford Expedition being driven by LeCrow.

CCTV footage shows as their vehicle passes by a nearby intersection around 2:40 a.m.

Police officers responded within fives minutes of the crash, which took place roughly 2.5 miles from the strip club.

The SUV, which was said to have been speeding, was carrying the group while it hit a curb on the passenger’s side before crashing into two power poles.

Meanwhile, a toxicology report on LeCroy remains pending.

A spokesperson for UGA declined to answer whether or not university staffers violated school rule when they attended a strip club with student-athletes.

“Our primary focus remains on providing comfort and support to the families and friends of Devin, Chandler, and the two others who were injured, as well as everyone impacted by this tragedy,” the statement read.

The statement went on to say that: “out of respect for the individuals and their families, we will not comment further at this time on the accident or the ongoing investigation.”

Willock was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Journal-Constistution, while LeCroy 24, died from her injuries after being transported to nearby Piedmont Athens Regional Medical Center.

The crash report states LeCroy was trapped behind the wheel and had to be freed from the vehicle.

Willock was sitting behind the driver’s seat and was not wearing his seatbelt when he was thrown from the vehicle.

Victoria Bowles, 26, a recruiting staff member who was also not wearing a seatbelt, suffered serious injuries in the crash. McClendon, 21, was treated for minor injuries at the Athens hospital before being released shortly thereafter.

Willock, a Milford, N.J. native, appeared in 15 games for Georgia and made two starts. He was a redshirt sophomore prior to his tragic passing.

Last week, McClendon accepted his invitation to the Senior Bowl at Hancock Whitney Stadium in Mobile, Alabama on Feb. 1.
