Watch: Controversial foul call sends San Diego State to Final Four

Sports

San Diego State is on its way to the Final Four for the first time in program history thanks to a 57-56 win over Creighton on Sunday afternoon.

It was a last-second controversial call that helped send it there.

With the game tied, 56-56, in the final seconds, the Aztecs had the ball for the game’s final shot. As Darrion Trammel drove to the hoop and got off a shot that hit off the front of the rim, officials called a foul on Creighton’s Ryan Nembhard that sent Trammel to the line with 1.2 seconds on the clock.

After missing his first shot, Trammel sunk his second shot to give the Aztecs a one-point lead.

Have a look at the play and the call.

Good call? Bad call? Bad call for the situation?
