It’s official: Lamar Jackson wants out of Baltimore.
On Monday, the 2019 NFL MVP released a statement in a series of tweets. “As of March 2nd I requested a trade from the Ravens organization, for which the Ravens [have] not been interested in meeting my value, any and everyone [that] has met me or been around me know I love the game of football and my dream is to help a team win the Super Bowl. You all are great but I had to make a business decision that was best for my family and I.” Ravens head coach John Harbaugh came out almost immediately and tried to put out any flames he could, even saying that he expects Jackson to be his QB in 2023. Prior to this, teams around the league were seemingly operating under the assumption that the Ravens would simply match any offer that Jackson received on the free-agent market. While that could still very well be the case, Monday’s development is the most significant yet as to whether or not we see Jackson in purple and black ever again. Stay tuned.
Which brings us to today’s quiz of the day. How many of the quarterbacks who have thrown the second-most touchdowns for each NFL team, as Jackson has with Baltimore, can you name in five minutes?
Good luck!
