Even at age 38, LeBron James continues accomplishing things NBA fans haven’t seen before. Tuesday night, in a loss to the crosstown-rival Los Angeles Clippers, LeBron put up 46 points. In doing so, he became the first player in league history to have a 40-point game against every team. After the game, it wasn’t LeBron’s achievement that went viral. Instead, it was his dejected pose on the bench that NBA Twitter picked up on. Of course, the King is within striking distance of the ultimate NBA record. Still, if he can’t help the Lakers turn around their underwhelming season, he will likely remember this year as one big disappointment instead of a cause for celebration.
Which brings us to today’s quiz of the day. While LeBron’s recent achievement is both impressive and unique, he’s still quite a ways away from having the most 40-point games in league history.
