Leading tax preparation company H&R Block has launched an innovative new online campaign that aims to convince Canadians to turn to the company in order to ensure that they’re able to access their tax benefits, particularly those that have newly been introduced in time for the 2023 tax season.

Crafted by the advertising experts over at Sid Lee, this particular online campaign revolves around two key video spots. One of the videos, titled ‘GovCoin,’ depicts a pair of cryptocurrency enthusiasts talking about cash, while the ‘Quiet Quitting’ spot shows a worker quitting her job in the most subtle of ways.

Using humour, this online campaign reminds Canadians of the expanded eligibility for certain benefits introduced by the government amid the highest inflation in decades. ‘We want people to know that our tax experts can help them get a better tax refund, no matter their situation. Which could mean a considerable amount; especially when money is feeling tight,’ said Hilary Zaharko, VP marketing at H&R Block Canada.
