Widex announced ‘SoundRelax,’ a new feature added on to the company’s ‘Moment’ technology. Moment is used in the company’s suite of hearing aids to personalize the devices for each wearer fully. These hearing aids use artificial intelligence to help each wearer determine which settings and features are right for them.
With the introduction of SoundRelax, customers now have an additional feature to choose from. This feature delivers relaxing, soft sounds from a large bank of sounds. These sounds are designed to reduce stress, soothe the mind, calm anxiety, and ease symptoms of tinnitus. However, the company explicitly states that these are not only intended for individuals with tinnitus, as the feature has a number of benefits to mental and physical health aside from this.
