Streamlined Returns Programs : FedEx Consolidated Returns

Shipping giant FedEx recently announced that an upcoming service called FedEx Consolidated Returns, created to simplify ecommerce returns for both retailers and customers. This service is an addition to FedEx’s existing returns process that includes package and printer-less options, currently available at the over 10,000 of its store locations.

“FedEx Consolidated Returns will be facilitated through supply chain services offered by FedEx Logistics and FedEx Office. Shoppers who purchased items from participating retailers will be able to drop off those they wish to return, with no box or label required, at approximately 2,000 FedEx Office locations. The returned items will then be consolidated with other returns from a variety of retailers to save materials and space. The items will then be processed through FedEx Logistics and sent back to their respective retailers.”

Offering a low-cost and eco-friendly solution to a growing volume of returns, the Fedex Consolidated Returns aims to streamline returns for retailers while making consumers’ experience hassle-free.
