Sirius Jet world’s first Hydrogen-powered VTOL aircraft

Swiss startup Sirius Aviation has introduced the world’s first hydrogen-powered Vertical Take-Off and Landing (VTOL) aircraft, known as the Sirius Jet.

Sirius Jet innovative aircraft combines jet aerodynamics with the flexibility of helicopters. Was developed in collaboration with BMW’s Designworks and Sauber Group.

Two models are slated for launch in 2025: the Sirius Business Jet, with a flight range of 1,150 miles, and the Sirius Millennium Jet, designed for commercial aviation with a 650-mile range.

The project is a result of key partnerships with BMW Group’s DesignWorks, Sauber Group, Alfleth Engineering AG, and ALD Group. Its goal is to lead the way in developing sustainable and high-performance solutions for aviation.
