Registration available for Martin Luther King Human Rights Community Breakfast – Pullman Radio

Senior professor at Eastern Washington University’s Africana Education Program and History Department, Dr. Scott Finnie, will be the keynote speaker at the 2023 Martin Luther King Human Rights Community Breakfast on Saturday, January 21 at 9:30am at the Moscow Middle School.

His topic will be “Community and Human Rights: Growing Together.”

In person participation will be limited to 100 people so early registration is advised.

Dr. Finnie has made over 40 presentations in the past ten years throughout the U.S. and in 10 countries abroad on civil rights, affirmative action, servant leadership, diversity, and cross-cultural communication. He has received over 20 awards for excellence in teaching, leadership, civil rights and mentoring.

 The event is sponsored by the Latah County Human Rights Task Force in cooperation with the City of Moscow Human Rights Commission and the University of Idaho Black Cultural Center.
