Pickett leads Steelers to second consecutive comeback win

Kenny Pickett‘s legend continues to grow.

On Sunday, for the second week in a row, Pickett led the Steelers on a game-winning touchdown drive late to top the Baltimore Ravens, 16-13, and keep its slim playoff hopes alive.

Trailing the Ravens 13-9 with 4:16 remaining in the fourth quarter, Pickett led an 11-play, 80-yard drive, ending with a ten-yard touchdown pass to Najee Harris to give the Steelers the lead.

Pickett, who didn’t light up the stat sheet, finishing 15-of-27 for 168 yards and a touchdown, came up big when it mattered most, leading the Steelers to ten points in its final two drives of the night.

“We all came together,” Pickett told NBC’s Melissa Stark after the game. “We know how special we can be, and I’m glad we’re starting to put it together, but there’s still work to do.”

Pickett called Sunday night’s win similar to last week’s against the Las Vegas Raiders. In Week 16, Pickett orchestrated a ten-play, 76-yard drive, capped off by a 14-yard touchdown pass to George Pickens, lifting the Steelers to a 13-10 victory.

Despite sporting a 2-6 record heading into the bye week, the Steelers have won five of its last seven games and are still very much alive in the AFC playoff hunt.

With a record of 8-8, to clinch a spot in the postseason, the Steelers need to knock off the Cleveland Browns next week and hope the New England Patriots fall to the Buffalo Bills, and the Miami Dolphins lose to the New York Jets.
