Bicycle Health is a telehealth platform founded by Ankit Gupta with the hopes of “increasing the options for opioid treatment” and decreasing the stigma associated with the condition. The opioid crisis has been evolving in a complex environment because of prescribing doctors who are misinformed about how addictive such medication is, pharma companies who have marketed the drug as desirable and safe for pain management, and people who place blame on the addicts. As such, platforms like Bicycle Health are hard to come by but an extremely important resource for users who are looking for treatment and recovery. To date, Bicycle Health has served 20,000 patients across 32 states. It tops the industry average of retaining 44% at 90 days by an additional 36%.
