The Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA) was behind the creation of a new metaverse Fashion Festival (KMFF,) and it was developed with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to showcase domestic fashion brands in the metaverse. The virtual environment offers a multi-dimensional way for people to interact with Korea’s leading designer brands.
The experience starts by having users submit their personality type, gender of choice and whether they’d like their avatar to wear black or white. From there, their virtual likeness is transported to a Fashion City, which is one of three themed worlds where they can walk a circular loop and browse the digital showrooms set up to show off the brands.
