Convenience store retailer Maverik opened a new location in Magna, Utah, last week, marking the chain’s 400th store in its network, according to a recent announcement.

The new location is just over 5,000 square feet and is open 24/7. It features certified truck scales, truck and RV lanes, an RV dump, a picnic area, assisted-checkout registers and a variety of made-to-order food options, according to the announcement. The design inside the store features panoramic photos and maps of Utah on the walls, alongside adventure videos playing on TVs, gas pumps and soda fountains.

The store’s grand opening featured a rope-cutting, speakers, festivities and giveaways, as well as a $10,000 donation to Magna FACT, a program that helps Magna-area families and individuals with food, clothing, personal hygiene and other social services.

“Since Maverik’s first stores opened in Utah in the late 1950s, Maverik has become a statewide standard in convenience, employer of choice and strong community partner, now operating 175 stores across Utah,” Magna Mayor Dan Peay said at the opening of the location. “We’re thrilled to commemorate its 400th store in our close Magna community.”

Besides Utah, Salt Lake City-based Maverik operates stores in 11 other states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, New Mexico, Nebraska, Nevada, Oregon, South Dakota, Washington and Wyoming.
