Not The First Brush With The Law For Lil Tjay, Who Was Arrested In 2020 For Drugs, Gun Possession
In 2020, we reported rapper Lil TJay going live on Instagram during an incident with him and the NYPD, resulting in him being detained.
During the time of the incident, Tjay was filming a music video alongside rapper Fivio Foreign. According to claims, police responded to a call that suggested people were waving guns outside of a Queens housing project.
The Shade Room reported that TJay was in a vehicle with four other individuals when cops pulled them over for switching lanes without signaling.
Their sources confirmed that officers smelled marijuana in the car, which resulted in a search and the discovery of four loaded handguns and a large amount of marijuana.

As previously reported, it was reported in June that Tjay was taken into emergency surgery after he was shot in New Jersey. The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office later released details about the shooting, and it was revealed that Tjay was a victim of an armed robbery.
It was reported that Mohamed Konate of New York tried to rob Tjay and two other people a part of his team.
The other members of his team were later identified as Jeffrey Valdez and Antoine Boyd. When authorities arrived at the scene, Tjay was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, and Boyd suffered from a single gunshot wound.
