India Royale Seemingly Tells Lil Durk ‘Let It Go’ On Valentine’s Day

Entertainment

Even though Tuesday was Valentine’s Day, India Royale seemed to be swerving public praise from Lil Durk. The rapper took to Instagram with loving words for his former fiancée, but she followed up on Twitter with a message about respecting boundaries.

“Happy Valentine’s Day to the wonderful woman that made me a man. I love you @indiaroyale,” Durk captioned a photo of India on his IG Story. He added Future’s song I Won to the post.

After his post went live, India tweeted two coded yet indirect messages. She did not name Lil Durk, but fans quickly speculated the tweets were about him and his v-day note.

“People really do not respect boundaries at all. I try my best to be respectful and not put on a show but people don’t respect my choices,” India wrote.

She added, “let it go,” in a separate tweet.

Soon after, Durk returned to his Instagram Story with another message. This time he addressed why he gave India a shoutout.

“I post cause I wanted to the internet don’t run Druk try the troll with another mfr leave certain people alone,” he wrote.

The shoutout and clarification posts are no longer available on Durk’s Instagram Story. Meanwhile, India’s tweets are still visible on her profile. After the assumed subliminal, the influencer tweeted twice about Valentine’s Day–one was a greeting and the other a retweet.

She retweeted the tweet below:

Timeline Of Lil Durk And India’s Relationship

At this time, it’s unclear if Durk and India are in a romantic relationship. They got engaged in December 2021 after Durk proposed during his performance at WGCI’s Big Jam Concert in Chicago.

They began dating in 2017.

During the proposal, he said:

“You know I love you to death, and you’ve been holding me down when I was going through a lot,” Durk shared at the time. “You’ve been the realest to me and I love you to death. I’d smoke a muthaf**ka for you. So, do you want to be my wife?”

But India fueled breakup rumors in September after tweeting that she’s “a free agent” and unfollowing Durk on Instagram.

A little over a month later, Lil Durk posted and deleted a TikTok video mouthing the lyrics “welcome to death row.” He tagged India in the clip and wrote, “the voice X the blessing #lildurk #india” in the caption.

There hasn’t been much coming from either person about their relationship status since these September and October posts. However, they celebrated their daughter Willow’s birthday in early November.
