WiTricity will unveil its wireless charging solution for electric golf cars and neighborhood electric vehicles (NEVs) at the upcoming Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, Nevada. This development signals the next generation of low-speed vehicles equipped with WiTricity’s wireless charging will offers hands-free convenience.

Alex Gruzen, CEO of WiTricity, expressed excitement about meeting consumer demands for wireless charging across various sizes of electric vehicles: “It’s exciting to showcase the broad range of wireless charging solutions enabled by WiTricity, from new electric vehicles to the rapidly growing market of golf cars on both residential streets and courses. We’re providing people with the freedom to simply park and charge.”

WiTricity’s wireless EV charging system, the WiTricity Halo™, comprising the wireless charger, receiver, and cloud-connected software, has been successfully implemented in numerous passenger vehicles globally. The wireless charging solution for electric golf cars, set to be commercially available from the summer of 2024, includes the WiTricity Halo™ Receiver and the WiTricity Halo™ Power Hub.
