Futuristic Bladeless Planes : jetopetra

Trends
Jetopetro creates innovative new planes that could propel themselves at the speed of 0.8 Mach without the need for propellers. The planes approach flying from fluidic propulsion systems and use a system that can send compressed air through a slit that faces the back in the interior thruster.

This also initiates what is known as the ‘Coander effect’ where negative pressure is formulated in order to suck ambient air within the thruster. This can be positioned so that the air is pushed against the ground when it lifts off and then shifted to propel the plane into a horizontal flight position. CEO Andrei Evulet claims that this will also be extremely quiet and will not be heard unless pedestrians are 200 feet away.
