The Samsung Flex Hybrid display has been shown off ahead of CES 2023 to showcase what’s possible and as a glimpse into what we could see showing up in near-future laptop models.
The display puts folding and sliding capabilities in the spotlight, which would enable a customized user experience that changes according to needs or onscreen content. The display puts the folding functionality into the lefthand side with the righthand side equipped with the sliding capability. Users could thus enjoy their choice of movie or video in 4:3 or 16:10 aspect ratios on the 10.5-inch display or the 12.4-inch display, respectively.
The Samsung Flex Hybrid display builds on the existing technologies within the market and identifies what’s next in mobile computer design.
