Future Travel Experience (FTE) is delighted to announce that Steven Greenway, CEO, flyadeal, and Guðmundur Daði Rúnarsson, Chief Commercial and Airport Development Officer, Keflavik Airport, have joined the FTE Executive Advisory Board.

Steven Greenway was appointed CEO of Saudi low-cost airline flyadeal in January 2024. He returns to the FTE Executive Advisory Board, having previously been a member during an airline career that includes extensive experience in Asia, North America, Europe and the Middle East over the last 25 years, with senior roles at the likes of Swoop, WestJet, Scoot, Virgin Blue, and Virgin Atlantic.

FTE is renowned for bringing stakeholders together to share insights, visions and initiatives that help shape our industry,” says Greenway. “As flyadeal plays a crucial role in supporting Saudi Arabia’s dynamic economic transformation of its aviation and tourism infrastructure, I look forward to sharing our experiences and collaborating with fellow Advisory Board members to collectively work on defining the future of our sector.”

Meanwhile, in addition to joining the Executive Advisory Board, Guðmundur Daði Rúnarsson also brings his comprehensive experience to the FTE Ancillary & Retailing Advisory Board. He has held many senior roles during a 12-year career with Isavia, currently serving as Chief Commercial and Airport Development Officer at Keflavik Airport since 2019.
