eBay‘s Christine Su has landed on Fast Company’s annual Queer 50 list for a second consecutive year, the media brand announced on Tuesday. The list celebrates “LGBTQ leaders who are leading across industries, including business, tech, finance, venture capital, and media,” wrote Fast Company Senior Editor Julie Herbst.
In her role as Head of Product, AI Recommendations, Homepage, and My eBay, Su has found innovative new ways to use AI to personalize the eBay experience for sellers and buyers.
“People come to eBay to find what they love. It sparks joy to find what you’re looking for, whether it’s a Barbie season outfit, Star Wars collectible, or a childhood toy,” said Su.
“When you come to eBay, we imagine a lively experience that not only looks and feels like you, but also connects you with a community of people who share your passions, and inspires discovery of more amazing finds you can’t get anywhere else,” she added.
Su was first named to the Queer 50 list in 2023. “You’re going to see a very different eBay that is personalized, that deeply understands you,” she told Fast Company at the time. eBay has since steadily added to its robust toolbox of AI-powered tools and features, such as Shop the look, which allows buyers to shop for fashion through an immersive carousel of complementary looks that are curated based on their past shopping history.
