CYCMotors launched the CYC Photon, an electric bike conversion package complete with a battery and motor. This bike conversion kit weighs only 3.2Kg without its crank, which does not add a very noticeable amount of weight to a traditional bike. This means that, even if the conversion kit runs out of battery, its weight is not a burden for normal pedal operation.
The CYC Photon features a 250W continuous output motor that can be configured to a maximum output of 750W via the CYCMotors app while on the road, or up to 1,000W while in an off-road environment. Additionally, the motor can be set up to 1,200W in certain regions. This motor delivers up to 110 Nm of torque, making it powerful enough to drive even the heavier side of bikes.
Prices for the CYC Photon start at $850 USD, and the product can be ordered directly from CYCMotors.
