DJ Mustard Agrees To Pay Chanel Thierry $19K In Child Support

Entertainment

While DJ Mustard and Chanel Thierry continue their journey to divorce, they’re attempting to settle their highly-publicized child support battle in private.

As such, Mustard has agreed to pay a little over $18,000 in temporary child support, though the battle isn’t completely over yet!

Chanel Initially Sought Over $80,000 A Month In Child Support

Mustard’s agreement to pay $18,342 in months child support is significantly less than what Chanel was initially seeking. As The Shade Room previously reported, Chanel wanted $82,628 in child support, and she proclaimed that—since Mustard allegedly made over $10 million in 2020—the amount was certainly doable.

Additionally, Chanel—who has been with Mustard for years but only recently tied the know in October 2020—wanted him to cough up an extra $35,000 a month in spousal support.

Notably, the situation escalated to the point that Chanel accused Mustard of making it “increasingly difficult to co-parent.” In turn, DJ Mustard spoke out and slammed Chanel for allegedly accusing the DJ of starv[ing] her out financially since separation.”

Mustard Agreed To Pay $18,342 A Month…For Now

In court docs obtained by Radar Online, the former couple agreed to put Chanel’s child support motion on the back burner. They also reportedly agreed to participate in a Voluntary Settlement Conference, and Mustard will use this time to turn over requested financial docs to Chanel.

As a result, it appears as though they’re looking to handle the situation in private from here on out, though monthly payments of $18,342 will hold Chanel and the kids over until they sort out the situation.

Aside from the temporary child support agreement, they also agreed to share joint legal and physical custody of their three children.

What do you think about the situation between DJ Mustard and Chanel Thierry? Also, do you believe that this back-and-forth will soon be officially brought to an end?
