Celebrating 5 years of support for transitioning service members
As the U.S. Department of Labor Veterans’ Employment and Training Service marks the five-year milestone of the Employment Navigator and Partnership Program (ENPP), the initiative continues to support the Trump Administration’s goal of empowering transitioning service members and military spouses to succeed in the civilian workforce.

Launched as a pilot at just 13 military installations in 2021, the Employment Navigator and Partnership Program has grown to serve more than 50 locations across all service branches, providing one-on-one guidance through dedicated employment navigators who help participants prepare for civilian careers and connect them with trusted training, career resources, and verified employment partners.

Since its inception, the Employment Navigator and Partnership Program has supported more than 28,500 clients, including over 1,600 military spouses, empowering them with the tools, confidence, and connections needed to succeed beyond military service. With 97% of participants saying they would recommend the program and many describing it as the most impactful part of their transition, the Employment Navigator and Partnership Program is a critical part of the transition to meaningful civilian careers.

Through the Employment Navigator and Partnership Program, transitioning service members and military spouses receive:
- Personalized career guidance: One-on-one support from Employment Navigators tailored to each client’s skills, interests, and career goals.
- Partner connections: Access to vetted organizations offering training, credentialing, and employment services.
- Career readiness resources: Assistance with resumes, career exploration, job search strategies, and professional development.
