The ‘Amplification Of The Senses’ chair is a coned-shaped, outdoor seating solution that’s constructed to help a sitter enjoy a more tranquil experience when spending time in nature.
The chair features an ultra-modern silhouette that consists of a base with a conical backrest and upper section, which would completely envelop the sitter. An opening in the upper-rear section would help to funnel natural sounds into the encapsulated portion of the chair to bathe the sitter in wind, rustling and flowing water sounds, depending on the location. The chair is crafted entirely out of recycled plastic.
The ‘Amplification Of The Senses’ chair has been designed by Eun Whan Cho of the MOOTA design studio and was commissioned by the Seoul Metropolitan Government for placement along the riverfront.
