The competitive season of Apex Legends 2022-23 had already created a lot of buzz. The pre-season winners look like formidable opponents, while new outfits are trying to make a mark for themselves. Apex Legends Global Series 2022-23 :

Within each region, there have been teams that have shuffled their rosters to gain an edge of that win, but let’s see who can win it all. The Pro League will fear the participation of 22 invited teams from each region. While 8 winners of the preseason tournament will also be given a place in the upcoming tournament. In total, 5 regions are part of the Pro League, and we will fight to qualify a total of over 150 teams. From each region, the winner will also qualify directly for the second division of the Pro League.

STRUCTURE & FORMAT :

The ALGS season is divided into two levels of competition: the Challenger Circuit and the Pro League. Each level is played in five competitive regions: North America, South America, EMEA, APAC South and APAC North.The qualifiers for the Pro League took place in October 2022, with the winning team and top-placed teams qualifying for Split 1 in each region. The post-split qualifier going to Split 2 includes the teams finishing at the bottom from Split 1 and the best teams from the Challenger circuit for a place in Split 2.

CHALLENGER CIRCUIT

The Challenger circuit is open to all teams that want to try their hand at competitive Apex Legends. Before each season, all teams compete in open tournaments, with the best players in the Challenger circuit being able to qualify for the Pro League Split or Championship. The Challenger season is played in parallel with the Pro League, with teams promoting and relegating between the two.

ALGS PRO LEAGUE

The Pro League is the premier eSports competition at Apex Legends. Thirty teams in each of the five regions compete in the competitive division for one shot in the championship. Out of 30 teams, 22 are invited directly and 8 get their place through the qualifiers.

The team division in each region is listed below:

  • ALGS SPLIT 1 EMEA TEAMS
  • ALGS SPLIT 1 NORTH AMERICA TEAMS
  • ALGS SPLIT 1 APAC NORTH TEAMS
  • ALGS SPLIT 1 APAC SOUTH TEAMS
  • ALGS SPLIT 1 SOUTH AMERICA TEAMS

ALGS PLAYOFFS :

The division is complete after a Pro League. The best teams from each region (40 in total) compete on the LAN for $1,000,000. The slot division is as follows: NA/N EMEA/EMEA 9 teams from APAC-N, and SA/SA teams. 4 teams from APAC-S. The winners of each regional are also auto-qualified. In addition to competing about the main prize pool, teams earn regional points that can give them more places in the next set of playoffs.

CHAMPIONSHIP :

The ALGS Championship will be held in July 2023. The world’s best Apex Legends teams will compete for $2,000,000 and championship trophies. Teams earn playoff points throughout the season or earn invitations through a final chance qualifier.
