Aer Lingus – a member of International Airlines Group (a Headline Partner of the co-located FTE EMEA and FTE Ancillary & Retailing events, Dublin, 11-13 June 2024) – has launched a new summer menu and expanded its inflight entertainment library by more than a third.
The new inflight dining options are inspired by the best Irish cuisine and have been hand-chosen based on customer feedback with upgrades to both Economy and Business Class menus.
Aer Lingus refreshes seasonal menus every three months. All dishes are focused on seasonal, sustainably sourced, local produce.
To ensure a “truly enjoyable travel experience”, Aer Lingus has also expanded its inflight entertainment library by more than a third, so there’s something for everyone to enjoy, from the latest blockbusters to classic favourites and captivating documentaries.
“At Aer Lingus, we value feedback and constantly review our food and entertainment offerings to ensure we meet the needs of our customers,” said Susanne Carberry, Chief Customer Officer, Aer Lingus. “Based on this feedback, I am pleased to say that we’ve upgraded the quality and range of food onboard for both Economy and Business Class customers and have increased the amount of inflight entertainment content by more than one third. Along with enjoying enhanced inflight dining and entertainment, holidaymakers can also expect a warm and friendly welcome on board all Aer Lingus flights and a generous baggage allowance when flying long-haul.”
Alongside these customer experience improvements, AerClub members – the loyalty program of Aer Lingus – can now earn Tier Credits, in addition to collecting Avios, when flying with British Airways. The move will help members collect Tier Credits more easily, while BA Executive Club members can also now earn Tier Credits on Aer Lingus.
