Administrator Samantha Power Meets With Armenian Diaspora

Today, Administrator Samantha Power met with representatives of the Armenian Assembly of America (AAA) at their annual advocacy summit. The Administrator reinforced USAID’s unwavering commitment to Armenia’s democratic development, trade and transit diversification, territorial integrity, and sovereignty.
Administrator Power also communicated USAID’s willingness to find new ways to partner with the Armenian American diaspora community for the betterment of the people of Armenia. This included continued efforts to support displaced persons and refugees, enhance Armenia’s economic resilience, and strengthen its democratic institutions.
