Zip Reports $6 Billion in Customer Savings as AI‑Driven Procurement Accelerates

Zip says it has surpassed $6 billion in customer savings, marking a major milestone for the fast‑growing AI procurement platform as more global enterprises adopt automated purchasing tools. The company announced the achievement after processing “hundreds of billions in spend” across more than 7 million suppliers, according to a Business Wire statement.

The past year has been defined by rapid advances in AI‑powered procurement, with Zip reporting strong uptake from Fortune 500 companies navigating economic uncertainty and increasingly complex supply chains. Enterprises such as OpenAI, Dollar Tree and Mars have turned to Zip’s agentic AI platform to streamline purchasing workflows and reduce operational costs, according to the company’s announcement.

Zip said the platform’s growth reflects a broader shift toward intelligent procurement systems capable of automating approvals, orchestrating vendor interactions and accelerating purchasing decisions. Co‑founder and CEO Rujul Zaparde described the evolution as a move from “a simpler way to start a purchase” to a full procurement operating system, as reported in the release.

The company’s software is used by a wide range of major organisations, including AMD, Anthropic, Coinbase, Discover, Dollar Tree, HP, Instacart, Invesco, Lyft, Northwestern Mutual, Prudential, Reddit, Sephora and Snowflake.

Zip’s expansion comes as enterprises increasingly prioritise efficiency, transparency and cost control—areas where AI‑driven procurement tools are gaining significant traction. The company said it expects adoption to continue rising as businesses seek scalable solutions to manage global supplier networks and volatile market conditions.
