British Prime Minister Keir Starmer has publicly condemned Israel’s decision to intensify its military operations in Gaza, describing the move as “wrong” and warning that it “will only bring more bloodshed.”
Starmer’s remarks reflect growing international concern over the humanitarian impact of the conflict and underscore the UK government’s call for restraint and renewed efforts toward de-escalation. He emphasized the urgent need for all parties to prioritize civilian protection and pursue a sustainable path to peace.
The Prime Minister also reiterated the UK’s support for a two-state solution, stressing that long-term stability in the region depends on a negotiated settlement that ensures security, dignity, and self-determination for both Israelis and Palestinians. He called on international partners to redouble diplomatic efforts to bring an end to the violence and facilitate meaningful dialogue.
