Kason Thomass has been found alive, according to a Facebook video posted by the child’s paternal grandmother LaFonda Thomas.
LaFonda, who goes by Fonda Thomas on Facebook, began live-streaming under an hour ago. Thomas, along with a group of people in the background, let out loud cheers as they celebrated the five-month-old’s discovery.
Thomas explained that Kason was found abandoned at a parking lot in Indianapolis. She also profusely thanked people online for their help, in particular people in Ohio and Indiana.
“My baby got ten fingers, he got ten toes. He healthy, he healthy. We going to get him, thank y’all. Thank you, Jesus,” LaFonda said. “They found my baby in Indianapolis. That crazy creep left my baby in a parking lot, but we got him and they got her and that’s all that needs to be said. I love it.”
Columbus Ohio Police also confirmed Kason was found “safe and alive” in a tweet and on Facebook.
“Kason Thomass was found alive & safe in Indianapolis near a Papa John’s pizza location. The 5-month-old boy is in good health & being transported to a hospital to be checked out. Kason was found in the stolen Honda Accord & wearing the same clothes.”
