Wicklow was well-represented at the Accounting Technicians Ireland conferral at the Talbot Hotel in Dublin last week, with Arklow native Shelley Menton leading the way for the Garden County.
The annual conferring ceremony is a highlight of the Accounting Technicians Ireland’s calendar that celebrates the academic achievements of their graduands and confers membership and fellowship.
For the past two years, Accounting Technicians Ireland have held a virtual conferring ceremony due to Covid-19 restrictions, and this year marked the event’s long-anticipated return to an in-person graduation.
This year’s ceremony also marked the 40th anniversary of the founding of Accounting Technicians Ireland. The momentous milestone was celebrated on the day, adding to the sense of occasion for the students, members, families and friends who were in attendance.
