Bayern Munich confirmed on January 15, 2017, that they have acquired Sebastian Rudy and Sule in a double swoop from Hoffenheim. Sule made his debut in 2017 against Bayer 04 Leverkusen. Sule scored two goals while participating in 27 Bundesliga games in his debut season. Sule suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury in the team’s eighth league game of the 2019–20 campaign. He was anticipated to miss eight to ten months of action and would have been unable to represent Germany at UEFA Euro 2020.
