Emergent Games has launched ‘Resurgence,’ a Web3 survival MMO game that sees players attempt to rebuild the world after an ecological collapse. Emergent also released an ARG last year that introduced the characters and world, serving as a prelude to the game title. Players are allegedly given “full ownership of their in-game environment” in Resurgence. As a result, the game offers optional NFTs for sale that may be utilized in-game, although Emergent has insisted that users do not need to interact with them to win.
