Nike unveils another tonal update of the classic Air Max Plus sneaker model that highlights Tuned Air branding throughout the shoe. It is secured by a toggled lacing system over the forefoot for a technical design language and comes in a bright palette of black and pink.
The base foundation is detailed with heavy graphic accents that are made from mesh materials for a breathable touch. It starts with Hyper Pink which is then printed with the text “Tuned Air 1998” in a variety of fonts. Additional details include the gradient tonal TPU cages that spread throughout the upper. Volt tones are added as a bright pop of contrast at the medial side in the form of the Nike Swoosh.
