Vanessa confirmed the news last night on Instagram, a week after reports first emerged claiming that the MLB player had secretly proposed to her.
“YES,” she wrote in the post, alongside photos of her blingy new diamond. “We couldn’t be happier 🤍.”
While Vanessa did not say when they got engaged, it seems as if it may have been in November, when they were in Paris together, based on what they’re wearing in the pictures. So it’s been a minute now.
People were so happy for them:
“He’s just kind of perfect for me,” she shared. “I am [happy]. I really am. I think that it’s also so important to stay grateful for everything that you have in life. I’ve been making that a priority, and I feel like it’s just been making magic happen all the more.”
