Washington, D.C.
The U.S. Army has announced a landmark enterprise agreement with Palantir Technologies, consolidating 75 existing software contracts into a single framework. The deal provides volume-based discounts and grants the Army the option to procure up to $10 billion in software and services over a 10-year period.

Streamlining Procurement and Enhancing Capability

The agreement is designed to accelerate the deployment of advanced data integration, analytics, and artificial intelligence tools across Army operations. By eliminating contract-related fees and reducing procurement timelines, the Army aims to improve operational efficiency and readiness.

“This enterprise agreement represents a pivotal step in modernizing our capabilities while being fiscally responsible,” said Army Chief Information Officer Leonel Garciga. “We’re enhancing effectiveness and maximizing buying power.”

Flexible and Scalable Framework

The contract does not commit the Army to any specific purchases but establishes a scalable structure for acquiring Palantir’s commercial software as needed. Other Department of Defense agencies may also leverage the agreement under the same terms.

Broader Reform in Software Acquisition

Army officials indicated that this deal is part of a wider initiative to reform software procurement practices, reduce complexity, and improve transparency. Future enterprise licensing agreements are expected to follow, supporting the Army’s long-term digital transformation goals.
