Raghav Chadha On Inflation: The winter session of Parliament is going on and there is continuous uproar in both the Houses regarding the issue of China. Meanwhile, Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha surrounded the central government on the issue of inflation. Giving the figures till now after the formation of the Narendra Modi government in the Parliament in the year 2014, he said that since then till now inflation has been at its peak.
Targeting the Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, she said that the Finance Minister had said that she does not eat onions, so she does not know the price of onion, what will the Finance Minister say about the price of milk, curd and flour? He said in the House that look at the situation of inflation, when the Modi government was formed in the year 2014, petrol was sold at Rs 55 per liter and today petrol is being sold at Rs 100 per litre.

Stating the figures in the Rajya Sabha, he said that before the formation of the BJP government, diesel used to be sold at Rs 45 per liter which is being sold at the rate of Rs 90 per liter today. The gas cylinder used to be available in the market for Rs.400, today that gas cylinder has become Rs.1100. Milk used to cost Rs 36 per litre, but today the same milk has become Rs 60 per litre. Before the formation of the Narendra Modi government, CNG used to be available at Rs 40 per liter, which has now become Rs 80 per unit.
